Little Man's Life in its Twilight

Ten years from now, I'm going to be sitting with my son in front of a History Channel special, eating popcorn, drinking a Coke and watching an F-22 Raptor go Jurassic Park on mahmoud ahmadinejad. We are still, at the least, a few months away from that pretty piece of history being made. Until that day, we can only sit back and wait.

On Wednesday, the president of Occupied iran declared "victory." No - this wasn't because he managed to awaken to another morning of life, which at this point continues only at President George W. Bush's whim. In fact, he was gloating about the report by US Intelligence declaring that the Primates running iran were even less capable of building weapons of mass destruction than the average American had previously suspected.

According to the report, Iran will most likely not be able to end the world until at least 2010, giving us and the ones we love two long years to enjoy our lives before they melt away in a city sized burst of white-hot radiation. It is unclear what the cause of this delay is, though Intelligence sources close to the Freedom Brothers indicate that one of the three hammers built in iran to date broke, cutting the national productivity of the country by a third.

One way or another, Our President is not ready to become complacent in the face of the iranian threat just yet. He's aware that not one, but two clocks are ticking. One is inching ever closer to 2010, when the Iranians will be able to kill us and our Freedom; the other moves towards January 2009, President Bush's deadline for killing Little Man and liberating the Oppressed Iranian People, not to mention the rest of the World.

Why would you advocate initiating a war that can't possibly be won by the time Chimpy leaves office?

What are we gonna do once we've killed Little Man and "liberated" the Iranian people? Who's gonna take his place? Are WE gonna do it?

I mean, dropping nukes is nice and all, but they're instant genocide, and without a REALLY good justification to give to the rest of the world, your boy, George, and his cohorts are gonna have some 'splainin' to do when the rest of the world decides they've had enough.

Nickflip,

Thank you for your comments. As I've mentioned before, speaking your mind is at the root of what it means to be an American.

I'm not sure I agree with your insinuation that the Oppressed Iranian people is incapable of ruling itself. It's a proven fact that since Democracy was overthrown in that country by tyrants in 1979, the Iranian people has yearned for its Freedom. The United States can be the catalyst for change there, literally sparking their Revolution with a hellfire missile to Little Man's face.

Also, I never said a word about using nuclear weapons against the iranian terrorist regime. If you read carefully, I refer only to the use of F-22 Raptors - a platform incapable of being equipped with non-conventional munitions.

I guess the thing I'm having trouble understanding is why should THEIR revolution be OUR problem? Don't we have enough problems to deal with?

Nickflip,

It isn't that their problem should be our problem - it's that their problem IS our problem. The same man that enslaves the Oppressed Iranian People is the same man that has a pistol to every Israelis' head, that has publicly called for and pursued President George W. Bush's demise, and that personally dragged screaming American diplomats through the streets of Tehran to the disgust of the brutalized Iranian population. Our Troops are ready and willing to die to crush this threat and liberate Occupied iran. Since I'm not the one being asked to make the sacrifice, I would consider it dishonorable to stand in the way of the eager ones who are.
